THE IMPORTANCE OF TORQUE WRENCH CALIBRATION
The essence of measuring torque value is to ensure that the fastener is not over-tightened or under-tightened while ascertaining that the bolt or nut is properly fastened. Under-tightening a car part for example, can result in a car that is structurally weak and potentially unsafe for use. Over-tightening can result in damage to the fastener and potentially, the car part, with requirement for an expensive replacement of the part.
