Pressure Gauge (Pressure)

A pressure gauge is a measurement device which determines the pressure in a compressed gas or liquid.

It is used to indicate the pressure of a given process or system. A pressure gauge usually refers to a self-contained indicator that converts the detected process pressure into mechanical motion of a pointer. Depending on the reference pressure used, they could indicate absolute gauge & differential pressure. Gauge pressure is zero relative to atmospheric condition.

Differential pressure is the pressure difference between two points in a system.

Absolute pressure s defined relative to full vacuum, so it is equal to gauge pressure plus atmospheric pressure

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE IT SERVICED AND CALIBRATED?

If the pressure is a factor that can influence quality or safety, then pressure gauge must to be calibrated at certain frequency recommended by manufacture and defiantly before first installation for confidence, quality and stability.

The SI unit for pressure is the pascal(Pa), equal to one newton per square meter (N/m2, or kg·m−1·s−2).

WHAT CAN CI SCIENTIFIC OFFER?

It is our goal to ensure that we calibrate every kind pressure gauge that a business could need.
